The application form is the first point of reference for the Admissions Committee when it comes to evaluating candidates. It is therefore essential that this provide detailed information on relevant academic and professional achievements, together with interests, aspirations and motivations that could support your application. You can either apply online or in writing. In addition to this we will also require official academic transcripts of university studies, which must be translated into English or Spanish. The application must be submitted in English.

It IE Business School operates on a ROLLING ADMISSIONS PROCESS. As such, there is NO EXPLICIT DEADLINE for applications for a particular intake.
However, given the limited number of places in the program and the diverse student body, we recommend that candidates initiate the application process as early as possible. This is especially important if they plan on applying for a scholarship as only accepted students are eligible to apply.
It is extremely important that you manage the timing of your application carefully and submit a complete application.
Once the application form has been assessed, candidates may be called to interview, which may be take place, at an admissions event, or by phone should they be unable to see us in person. We do, however, recommend the interview be conducted in person as it is an integral part of the admissions process.
The interview examines the data provided in the application in greater detail and determines whether the candidate's profile will stand him or her in good stead for the content and demands of the program.
Following the interview, each application will be subject to a final review by the Admissions Committee, evaluating all aspects of each candidate as a whole. Candidates will be notified of the Committee's decision after this final review.
Admission is valid for two years and is granted to candidates on the basis that IE Business School considers that they have the right profile to achieve success in the Master in Sports Management program.
Admission does not automatically guarantee a place within the next intake. In order to secure a place within a specific intake, the place reservation must be made. Please refer to the Place Reservation section within Payment Information for more details.

The Master in Sports Management is aimed at professionals who are wish to enhance their opportunities within the sports industry, or who are coming from other industries and desire a career change into the sports industry. It is also designed for participants who are unable or unwilling to leave their place of residence and work for extended periods of time.
The online format allows students from anywhere in the world and with any working timetable or travelling requirements to attend the Master in Sports Management. Based on the case method, it allows you to adopt a proactive attitude, thanks to a highly motivating methodology that ensures intensive communication, ensuring enthusiasm, interest, and commitment at every stage.
In order to evaluate each candidature more thoroughly, the Admissions Committee may require the GMAT/GRE/ IE Admissions Test and/or the TOEFL examination.
