You will therefore be able to follow the program regardless of your geographic location and personal and professional obligations.

The program is divided into two learning modules, each integrating fundamental management know-how with the specialized knowledge and management skills required to operate effectively in all areas related to the sports industry.

A series of conferences will take place throughout the program (during both the face-to-face and online periods), which focus on the latest issues and challenges to face professionals in the sector. These conferences will be led and chaired by leaders from the sector, who will share their real-world experiences, knowledge, and expertise with you, keeping the program's finger on the industry's pulse, and keeping you up to date with the latest developments within it as you expand your network of contacts within the industry itself.

Face to Face Period

The Face to Face periods provide the environment that you will need to work with concepts and skills that require face-to-face interaction between you, the professor and your classmates. These periods consists of seminars focused on skill-building activities, presentations of individual and group projects, and assessment tests to consolidate the work covered over the course of the program.

Two of these Face to Face periods- the first and third will be held at IE“s campus in Madrid. The second location will be of considerable significance in the world of sports management, allowing you to develop your network of contacts within a large number of companies operating within the industry, whilst also contributing to the international experience of the program.

Online period

The Virtual Campus is the focal point for the online periods serving as a communication platform for the study groups and for teacher-led online sessions. You will participate in online forums and discussions and have easy access to the comments, opinions and experiences of professors and fellow students, as well as general information on the program. These online forums will be active 24 hours a day allowing each person better time management as well as facilitating active participation and contribution.
